4. Glad the transaction, NOT on his property
One of the biggest mistakes a person (especially who claim investors) to purchase the property is that they buy property not by financial gain but more because of the LOVE at the beautiful property and very good architect. It does not hurt anyway …. you like to do that when the property is to your house.
But when it comes to investing, you have to look at the pros and cons financially, and leave feeling like or dislike. Stick to the principles of investment, such as whether the property is good prospect? Is making money go positive? How did the growth of property in the land? And so on .. Investment property is a matter of numbers. The point is whether the number of financial gain or not.
To clarify this point, I give examples of my former neighbors in Depok – Jabar (because it’s not neighborly, I moved to the South Jakarta). First year 1999 – 2001 I lived in a housing complex. The house that I live in the house at the time were small, with an area of only 78 m2, including my neighbor’s house, who happened to be larger with an area of 90 m2. My neighbor is renovating his house to build a second level. This house does look magnificent and the best among the existing homes in the vicinity.
